ROYALTON HOTEL NEW YORK

Luxury Hotels New York Home

The Iroquois New York has the intimate charm of an elegant European hotel. Located within strolling distance of Fifth Avenue shopping, the bright lights of Broadway and the international corporate offices of midtown, The Iroquois is at the epicenter of all that is exciting about New York.

It's hard to imagine there's a comfort or convenience that's been overlooked here. The 105 rooms and nine distinctive suites all have double-glazed windows, and individually controlled air conditioning. Guest amenities are of the highest quality. Bottles of Highland Spring water from Scotland are replaced daily. Belgian chocolates appear as well. Bathroom vanities are stocked with designer soaps, creams and lotions. Fresh linen towels and slippers arrive each evening with the turn-down service.

The 114 guest rooms are decorated with elegant French residential furnishings. Bathrooms are floor-to-ceiling marble with brass fittings. Every room has a two-line phone with one direct private line that can transfer calls to a cellular phone and receive voice mail. Bed linens and towels are imported 300-count cotton. Pillows are pure goose down. Nine suites include such additional amenities as original artwork, decorative fireplaces, separate Jacuzzi tub and shower stall, and his and hers terry cloth Frette bathrobes. Each suite has been beautifully decorated to reflect such distinctively New York themes as Broadway, Fashion, Museums, Library, Models, and Artists and Photographers. The Fitness Suite includes a private exercise area, and the Presidential Suite has two bedrooms, a kitchen, and dining area. The James Dean Suite (No. 803) is decorated with photographs and other memorabilia that recall the days before "Rebel Without a Cause" when the actor lived here between 1951 and 1953.

AMENITIES & SERVICES include 24-hour room service, Concierge, full turndown service, complimentary 24 hour Fitness Center Finnish Sauna, Frette linen, robes, and slippers, complimentary overnight shoe shine, welcome fruit basket upon arrival, remote controlled 25-inch television with VCR, cable TV with 34 channels including HBO, CD-radio sound system, dual-line telephone (including private line), data port for computer modem, digital lock safe, designer bathroom products, hairdryer, choice of daily newspapers, and mini-bar.
